A group of young students have taken to social media to share a school picture that shows them sitting in the classroom at an inner-city primary school.
The image was taken by one of the students, aged 12, who shared it on social media with the caption “It’s a great school, and it’s a little more than a school.”
“It’s like having a real place to be and go to school.
I can see a little bit of everything, and the school is really great,” she said.”

“When I see it, I can’t believe I’m actually here in front here in the morning,” one student said.”[It’s] really nice.
It’s a beautiful school, it looks like it’s not far from where I live.”‘
We just need to go back to school’The image has been shared over a million times.
“The school is a good school.
The school is where I’m from, so I just need my school back,” one of them said.
One of the school’s principals, Paul Lachance, said he hoped the picture had helped encourage younger children to think about their future.
“We need to have more of an awareness of what they’re doing with their life, and I think a lot of kids are starting to realise that they need to get out of the classroom and have a real life,” he said.
A school spokesman said the school had been inundated with calls about the image, and that staff had been meeting with parents to help them get their children into the classroom.
