Dental Hygienists (DHS) in Pennsylvania will be eligible for state funding, as the state prepares to release a list of schools receiving federal funding.

The list of school districts receiving the funding is expected to be released by the end of the month, and will include dental hygenists and other schools that are accredited by the American Dental Association.

The state has been struggling with funding for the last several years due to budget cuts.

Dental hygenist schools have struggled to make ends meet and pay for basic equipment, including supplies for cleaning and disinfection.

This year, the state will be releasing funding for all dental hygiene programs, including dentistry, dental assistants, dental technicians and general practice dental services.
