This time, a former teacher who taught in Smyrlana High School in Georgia has gone viral for claiming she witnessed a student, named Samantha, commit suicide.
Samantha was just 16 years old, and had been in high school for less than a year when she was found dead on October 19th, 2017, in a parking lot.
A neighbor reported seeing a man in the back seat of the vehicle with a knife and a box cutter in hand, but she didn’t call 911 or report anything until her death.
Police in Smyrmna, Ga., have been conducting an autopsy on the body and the investigation is ongoing, but there are now reports that she was a student at Smyrlana High.
Her death has been classified as a homicide, but it’s unclear what exactly led to her death, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Sami had been working at the Smyrlia Dental Hygienists office since she graduated from high school in 2014.
She also worked as a student body secretary at a local school, according the AJC.
She was a member of the school’s cheerleading squad, as well as a member in the basketball team, according Toews-News.
In a video shared on her Facebook page, she talked about how she became involved with the business, and how it changed her life.
She also said that she wanted to be a dentist and work at a school.
The video was shared nearly 200,000 times as of Tuesday morning.
She said that her life was saved by her friends, and that she never thought that she would be doing what she did.
The video also showed her laughing as she told how her father wanted to get her out of the business.
She added that she’s thankful for the school and the people that supported her, and also how she wanted them to be proud of her.
Smyrlia police have not commented on the case.
